Our company has been working completely remotely from the beginning, i.e. from the end of 2016, but of course we know how things work in classically organised companies: Once or twice a year at most, personal meetings take place.
Well, we have simply increased this number twelvefold :-) And that with the enormous approval of our employees.
Why? Quite simply: if your employees work remotely for the most part or completely, then the productivity (if the processes are right!) and often also the satisfaction of your employees increases. What can be lost, however, is your knowledge about how your employees are doing. Because you don't see them and can't even ask them in between.
The solution: our excellent Personal Manager conducts a video interview with each employee every four weeks. This is about job-related, but also private matters. We find out at an early stage if a colleague needs something, is dissatisfied with the work, or has personal problems.
Meanwhile this has established itself as a very strong instrument for us.
Would you like to know how you can use it in your company and which mistakes are best avoided?
